What could be better than spending the afternoon on an outstanding course with spectatular views and all of the amenitites that you can wish for. 
        
        Tucked in the foothills of the Chelan Valley along Lake Chelan and the North Cascades National Forest is Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course.  The 50 mile long, almost 1500 foot deep glacier fed lake and the spectatular snow capped peaks provide an unbelievable backdrop for the course opened in 2005.  Below is a press release that we received earlier this year.

PGA Professionals Name Bear Mountain Ranch
One of Six Favorite New Courses In Country

        Lake Chelan, WA - March 6, 2008 -- The PGA Professionals Guide to Travel recently announced the results of a survey among professional golfers to determine their favorite new courses with one Washington State developer delighted to be among the winners.

        The Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course in Lake Chelan, Washington and five other U.S. courses were named in the publication. According to the newly launched guide, published by the PGA of America, the survey lists PGA Professionals' favorite golf experiences from their travels across the country and around the world with green fees of $125 or less.

        "We are naturally very excited to be part of this prestigious list," stated Cory Pickeral, Director of Golf at Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course. "We always knew it was a spectacular course and a great test of golf. Now, golf professionals from the entire country have confirmed this and we are extremely proud of this tremendous achievement."

        Included in the list was the Chambers Bay Golf Course, which was recently named the site for the U.S. Open in 2015. The other four top new courses were located in California, Connecticut, Idaho and Minnesota.
